What LastInspected is

LastInspected is a record-keeping tool: it lets an organisation put a QR tag on an asset, collect timestamped, photo-backed inspection submissions against it, and keep a history of those submissions. Using the product means accepting these terms.

Compliance disclaimer

LastInspected does not certify, guarantee, or determine regulatory compliance. Several of our marketing pages describe the regulations and standards that typically drive a customer’s decision to track a given asset type — for example, a fire extinguisher page referencing NFPA 10, or a forklift page referencing OSHA 1910.178. Those references describe why the record matters to that industry; they are not a claim that using LastInspected satisfies the cited requirement, that the citation applies to your specific site or jurisdiction, or that any particular inspection was performed correctly. LastInspected stores what your inspectors report. It does not inspect anything itself, does not verify that a reported answer is accurate, and does not know your local code adoptions or amendments. You and your organisation remain solely responsible for understanding and meeting your own regulatory obligations, and for confirming that your checklists, cadence, and retention actually satisfy them.

Accounts and subscriptions

An account belongs to the organisation that created it. Subscription billing is handled through Stripe; by subscribing to a paid plan you authorise recurring charges at the rate and interval shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, effective at the end of the current billing period — we do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a period already paid for, except where required by law or where we state otherwise in writing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to store or transmit unlawful content
  • Attempt to access another organisation’s data or bypass access controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, including its public scan endpoints
  • Reverse engineer the service except where law permits it despite this restriction
  • Use the service in a way that impersonates the safety-check history of an asset that was not actually inspected

Service availability

We work to keep LastInspected available and take reasonable steps to prevent data loss, but we do not promise a specific uptime percentage or service-level commitment. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Your data, your ownership

The inspection records, photos, and other content your organisation creates remain your organisation’s property. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy to operate the service on your behalf. You can export your data, and closing your account does not transfer ownership of it to us.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LastInspected and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of the service — including any claim, penalty, or loss arising from a regulatory finding that your inspection program did not meet an applicable requirement. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these terms, including non-payment, after reasonable notice where practical. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before it is deleted, except where we are required to retain it longer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated “Last updated” date; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
